AnnaLisa Osvalder vill tipsa alla HFN-medlemmar om den nybildade nordiska avdelningen av HFES och sprida informationen nedan.
Our launch event is now less than two weeks away, and I hope many of you can join us. Expect monthly events going forward, as we have a long list of topics for online events and ideas for local meet-ups.
We are currently 52 members (🇳🇴 25, 🇸🇪 19, 🇫🇮 6, 🇩🇰 1, other 1), of which 23 work in industry or consultancies, 17 at universities, and 12 at research institutes. Feel free to forward this email to your colleagues or students. To join, they can send an email to me or to hfesnordic@gmail.com (joining the LinkedIn group is not enough as we need their email addresses).
For our launch event, we will start with a welcome address, followed by our first colloquium, and finishing up with a meet-and-greet. Future events will have a similar format, with 3-4 talks, plus a 20-30 minute “open mic” session.
12:30 – Welcome to HFES Nordic
12:45 – Start of colloquium
14:00 – Meet & greet (open mic)
14:30 – End of event
I would like to thank Gunhild Sætren and Björn Johansson for organising our first colloquium on crisis management and emergency response:
- Inger Lund Kordahl will talk about shared mental models and situational awareness in emergency response. Inger is a PhD in acute medicine and a hospital doctor as well as a researcher at Inland University in Norway.
- Erik Prytz will present a study where he uses a re-designed car simulator to study work conducted in ambulances under way. Erik is a Senior Associate Professor at Linköping University.
- Thor Inge Aas and Kristoffer Moen will talk about situation awareness and emergency response during life and death threats in police work.
So please mark your calendars and join us on 12 February!
Best regards,
Michael Hildebrandt
President HFES Nordic Chapter
